This is a Little Prince book painting that portrays many elements from the original illustrations across all three edges. The book used is the special 80th Little Prince anniversary edition - hardback, clothbound and illustrated. Despite this book being the thinnest one I've ever painted - 1 cm wide! - all elements are intricately and delicately made, to bring the magic from this special story to its edges.
The painting was made with gouache/watercolour and metallic watercolour paint to add a magical and unique touch to this celebratory edition.
